The historic events in 2020 changed the way DESIGNCONNECT serves the community, and we rose to the challenge to transition our impact to the virtual world for as long as we need to. Now more than ever, our students and their families are looking to us for hope. We cannot do this without our community and are so grateful to all of our donors, volunteers, and partners for their support of our mission.

Gift of Scholarship

Your gift can fund the scholarship for a 3-week residential pre-college summer experience at College for Creative Studies (CCS) for one Detroit high school student next year. This incredible opportunity earns the student 3 college credits, prepares them for college level work, develops their interests and talents, builds their portfolio and prepares them for college life away from home.

As part of our initiative to build up the Visual Arts and Design program at the Detroit School of Arts (DSA), a Detroit public high school, your gift can fund a semester-long design course in one of the following design disciplines: Industrial Design, Visual Communications, Fashion Design, Entertainment Design, Product Design and Architecture.

Your gift can purchase one computer that will help to build up the digital design capability at Detroit School of Arts and other schools in Detroit for students interested in the visual arts.
